Aims
  1. Social Marketing - What's it all About? (Ray Lowry & Rita Brophy) To describe social marketing To show how it works in theory To demonstrate how its works in practice To use techniques to understand post-graduate dental behaviours To show how to apply social marketing to solve specific post-graduate dilemmas To motivate dentists who are not currently actively engaging with Revalidation/CPD.
  2. Revalidation & Clinical Leadership - The Medical Story (Peter Hockey) Explain the history of revalidation. What we think revalidation will achieve. Lessons learnt so far. How revalidation fits in with the Leadership Agenda.
  3. The GDC Revalidation Proposals (Denis Toppin) Be able to describe the purpose of revalidation. Be ale to list the stages of revalidation proposed by the GDC. Be able to list the domains for revalidation. Feel more prepared to respond to the GC consultation
