DescriptionA short lunchtime lecture that describes vital steps in decontamination, with specific reference to patient flow and its impact on decontamination, during the COVID pandemic. Sandra Smith is an engaging and highly knowledgeable speaker. She originally qualified as a dental nurse, and has an Honours BSc Degree in Health Protection. Sandra has been working in the Infection Control industry since 2004. She has worked for a number of NHS Trusts and for HEE London. Sandra is experienced in helping organisations develop quality infection control systems and processes to provide effective assurance about good practice. She also has extensive experience in auditing and delivering infection control training to a wide variety of audiences.

The lecture will start promptly at 13:00; please log in early and check that your microphone is off but your camera is on (you can upload a background of your choice for privacy).
