DescriptionTo enable delegates to appreciate legal and ethical issues on a day to day basis in dental practice. This course is a 2.5 hour presentation for those DCPs who find it difficult to attend day courses.
Additional informationThe next 2.5 hour GDC advised CORE topic is due to take place on Wednesday 27th October – Handling Complaints.

This course is intended for the entire dental team including dentists, dental nurses, receptionists, practice managers.

  1. To provide up to date information on legal & ethical issues in relation to the GDC standards, ethics & the law
  2. State what legal & ethical issues are and discuss the differences between implied & expressed consent and how to raise concerns
  3. Delegates will be able to act in ways that adhere to GDC guidelines and the law and feel confident in their ability to work within the law.
