Additional information | Gerry Gallacher is a dual qualified dentist and osteopath. He is uniquely placed to understand the highly specific area of our job and the demands which it places on us. Qualifying as a dentist in Dundee, he has over 20 years of wide experience of general practice, hospital and community dental services. Gerry studied at the British School of Osteopathy, to pursue a lifelong interest in sports and musculoskeletal injuries, qualifying with a BSc (Hons) in Osteopathy in 1998. Gerry works as an Osteopath in Bristol, mainly at the University of Bristol Sports Medicine Clinic. During many years working as both a dentist and as an osteopath, he became convinced that more could be done to reduce the impact of musculoskeletal problems among dentists and dental personnel by adopting a truly holistic, biopsychosocial approach, with a strong emphasis on physical conditioning.
