Description | This webinar is part of a 4 session series- an opportunity for dentists to learn the principles and techniques of Minor Oral Surgery procedures. Designed for the busy practitioner, four standalone modules cover the main aspects of dentoalveolar surgery performed in daily practice, including a day of theory and 3 days of intensive hands on training on sheep heads. This is Day 1 (WEBINAR)-CAN BE BOOKED AS A STANDALONE DAY- it's an interactive theory session with case discussions, delivered as a Zoom or MS Teams webinar. The format is two 1.5 hour sessions, starting at 9.00 and finishing at 12.00 with a 10 minute break circa 10.30. An email with joining instructions will be sent at 08:00. Please ensure that your microphones are switched off when you first join, but camera is on (backgrounds can be uploaded for privacy) Questions are warmly encouraged. Small group hands-on training days will take place at Wexham Park Hospital, near Slough- a mixture of lectures and hands on practice. Additional information | Dr Kashif Hafeez has Membership and Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland, a Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, and a post graduate certificate in Medical and Dental education from Oxford Brookes. Kashif has a special interest in Oral Surgery and Dental Implantology, and is in practice in the Cotswolds. He has been a post graduate Dental Foundation trainer for Oxford Deanery and is a current Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland & the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh). Kashif acts as an expert & advisor to the General Dental Council UK. He teaches Oral surgery and Implantology at the Masters programme of BPP University, and lectures nationally and internationally on Oral surgery & Dental Implantology, including presenting his scientific work at various international conferences. In addition, Kashif serves as Editorial Board member for Porodental CPD and is a visiting Oral surgery Professor in Pakistan. He has a number of international publications. In 2013, he was honoured with the Dentist of the year award by APPS UK. | ||
