Aims
  1. To be able to provide basic life support in line with the UK resuscitation council
  2. To be effectively recognise and manage medical emergencies in the dental surgery
  3. To identify, prescribe and administer pharmacological agents correctly for the management of medical emergencies. To identify the need for urgent referral. To understand the supply of emergency drugs and their interactions. To understand team management in medical emergencies. To formulate protocols to minimise risk.
