This training is delivered by a trio of approved Oliver McGown trainers, including an expert with lived experienced of learning disabilities and an expert with lived experienced of autism. This session provides an opportunity for delegates to ask questions, listen and talk to someone with a learning disability and someone with autism, who will share their own experiences. Attendance to this session requires full interaction from individuals to ensure they develop new knowledge and strategies, that they can implement back in the workplace and so they can question current practice within their service. This will support the Oliver McGowan campaign to ensure that every person with a learning disability and autistic person has the right to excellent care and service from wherever they choose to access it.
