• Have a better understand the challenges and unique opportunities faced by International Medical Graduates

• Feel more confident in supporting new doctors, providing an enhanced induction and more structured supervision

• Be aware of ways of optimising training opportunities to support career progression for International Medical Graduates

• Have reflected on the importance of protective factors to maintain wellbeing when adapting to a new healthcare service

Learning outcomes

By the end of the session we expect participants to have significantly increased their awareness of challenges faced by new doctors to the NHS and understand the role of the supervisor in supporting this transition.
