Unconscious Bias for Trainers (SW739)
Availability | Course has taken place |
Subject | CPD - Supervisors |
Description | There are numerous studies reporting the impact of unconscious bias on day-to-day interactions, overweight people, those with a weak handshake or tattoos, and of course gender issues, race, LGBT (to name just a few!). As a result, individuals and organisations are missing out on great talent; not forming strong working relationships, inhibiting excellent performance etc. Some people are discouraging or disregarding others without even realising. By raising awareness of bias from unconscious to conscious levels and providing simple tips to guard against unconscious bias, we are equipping our managers and colleagues to be more inclusive. |
