Aims

By the end of the day, you should be able to:

  • Effectively support a trainee returning to training after a period of prolonged absence
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and familiarity with the process to support transition to less than full time training (LTFT)
  • Better understand the challenges and benefits for doctors working LTFT
  • Formulate useful learning objectives and work schedules for doctors working LTFT and those returning to work after a period of significant absence

By the end of the session we expect participants to have significantly increased their confidence and plans to support trainees returning to work and/or moving to LTFT working.
