Description | The session is aimed at providing leadership skills for yourself as part of faculty development in leadership and at the same time equip you with some ideas to develop them in postgraduate doctors in training. The ideas have been developed following research into leadership programmes in the NHS to identify skills that are genuinely useful in bringing about healthcare change. These influencing skills are based on simple rules of thumb (otherwise known as heuristics) that enable you to make better decisions when faced with complex problems. |
