| Aims | Focus: • examining what leading and managing mean in the context of the Consultant role; • creating a sound understanding of current policy and how the health and care system operates and is financed; • enabling participants to develop skills in service improvement; • enhancing personal effectiveness through exploring a range of leadership and management theories, approaches, skills and techniques, including working in teams and managing change; • exploring and enhancing self-awareness through use of the ‘Insights Discovery’ psychometric tool. |
