DescriptionThis 2-day course focuses on using the skills of Motivational Interviewing (MI) in conversations between supervisor and trainee to support the growth of the trainee, in a way that may allow sustained change. Initially focusing on developing the Dr-Trainee interpersonal relationship allows the opportunity to direct the conversation towards change where necessary even in those less ready to do so. You must have competed the Introduction to MI half day course before attending this course.
