About the course:

This course will explore patient safety and human factors with the new Patient Safety Syllabus as its foundation.

It is highly interactive and requires no prior knowledge of safety science, human factors and non-technical skills.

This full-day course will explore:

  • Understanding the macroeconomics of patient safety
  • How to approach error and avoid making mistakes
  • Introduction to system theory
  • Introduction to non-technical skills training and ‘tricks’ to make you more effective
