Aims

Managing performance is one of the biggest concerns to managers across all sectors and industries. With the working environment having changed massively during 2020 and 2021, managers are facing increasing challenges to ensure their teams are keeping on track.

Objectives

This workshop will equip delegates with the skills and confidence to effectively understand the aims of performance management. Participants will gain an understanding of acceptable standards of performance and be able to utilise performance management tools and strategies to enhance the performance of their teams, and the individuals within them.

Learning outcomes
  • The session offers a fully comprehensive exploration of the subject of performance management which will enable delegates to:
  • Maintain authority and respect whilst managing performance effectively and constructively
  • Manage performance that isn’t on track, high performance and coasters
  • Define key performance measures and utilise a structure to put them in place
  • Structure expectations and set SMART objectives
