DescriptionAround 14 per cent of people in the UK are from a BAME (Black, Asian and minority ethnic) background – that’s 8.1 million people. The figure is much higher in some parts of the UK, for example 40% in London. Our race is only part of our identity. Our customs, traditions and values influence who we are and how we communicate with each other. Recognition of the cultural needs and preferences of customers enables us to deliver effective, inclusive services. Effective team communication is influenced by the cultural background of each employee. This course will equip teams to work effectively and collaboratively by building employee confidence to engage with people of different cultural backgrounds. This course is interactive, using a variety of learning tools to engage and motivate participants.
