I teach and lecture across the country for dental deaneries, private companies and in general practice. My lectures are aimed at DCPs but many dentists have attended and enjoyed the lectures.

Radiography and Radiation protection for DCPs – I am IR(ME)R qualified to take radiographs

Medical emergencies – I am a qualified safecert AED and BLS trainer, I also keep up to date with yearly BLS in practice and 3 yearly re qualification courses in AED and BLS

Cross infection control- I keep up to date with any changes to the HTM01-05 document and CQC regulation 12
Law and Ethics- I have researched into the policies and protocols needed by all Dental practices in accordance with the GDC and the CQC

OHE– I keep up to date with ideas, products and evidence based reports.

Periodontal disease - I attend regular updates and courses to keep up to date.

Dental caries and dental anomalies- research

Anatomy and physiology of the head and neck –research

Tooth tissue loss and sensitivity –a special interest of mine

Extended duties training for Dental Nurses-
