Aims
  • To help practitioners improve their skills in contemporary rotary endodontics, irrigation and thermal obturation of root canal systems with gutta percha.
  • To explain how to restore the endodontically treated tooth with composite, conventional crowns, onlays and post crowns.
Objectives
  • To examine modern endodontic workflow and exploring case complexity tool, an update on diagnosis and diagnostic tools, as well as the importance of the endodontic workflow from access cavity to working length determination.
  • To examine the importance of irrigation, intracanal medication and endodontic outcomes.
  • To discuss the challenges of restoring the endodontically treated tooth, as well as when to restore and with what materials. Different materials such as gold, composite and ceramic will be discussed in detail, including which situations are optimal for certain material choices.
  • To discuss different types of post/core systems which can be prescribed to restore the root treated tooth.
Learning outcomes

After this course delegates will update their knowledge in modern endodontic concepts and workflow, as well as tips and tricks to make their day to day endodontic treatment predictable, successful and avoid common mishaps.
