Rachael is a Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry working in Mid Yorkshire Community Dental Service. She is also the Regional Advisor in Community Dentistry for Health Education England, Yorkshire and Humber. She completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Education in 2018 and subsequently became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in 2020.

Greig Taylor is a current NIHR Doctoral Research Fellow, and specialist trainee, based at the School of Dental Sciences, Newcastle University. His main research interests are in MIH, dental trauma, dental care pathways and the use of economic evaluation techniques in child oral health.

He is in his 2nd year of his prestigious NIHR DRF, and is chief-investigator on the "DECIDE" study (Dental ExtraCtion versus filling of adult teeth In chilDren: A cost Effectiveness analysis), at Newcastle University.
He is the current chair of CONNECT (Child Oral Health National Research Collaborative) as well as having active roles in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and examinations. In his spare time he plays cricket for Stamfordham Cricket Club and is an avid Newcastle Falcons rugby fan. When he is not playing or watching sport, he can be found somewhere walking/running in rural Northumberland with his dog.
