Lecturer profileI qualified at Glasgow Dental School and since then have worked in Newcastle, Sheffield, Rotherham, York and Leeds in both paediatric dentistry and oral surgery posts.

I am currently working as a Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry at Leeds Dental Institute.

I was previously a Consultant at Leeds Community Dental Service for almost 8 years.

I have been involved in lecturing for postgraduate deaneries on paediatric behaviour management, paediatric restorative care, paediatric dental trauma, inhalation sedation and the management of children with autism and complex neurodisabilities.

Lecturer profileFollowing successful award of FDS in March 2021, Claire began working at St Luke’s hospital in June 2021 as an Orthodontic consultant. During her specialty training, she was actively involved in the coordination and delivery of care for patients who have sustained dental trauma. This is an area of great interest to Claire as she loves to work collaboratively with colleagues in alternative disciplines.
