Description | Full day course providing teaching and task training on clinical procedures for FY2 doctors. Some of the skills to be covered include chest drain insertion, lumbar puncture, suturing, IO access, Ascitic drains and Airway skills. The skills will be taught in small groups. The day is running from 10:00 - 16:00 with 5 hours of clinical teaching. Additional information | The course will be held at the Postgraduate center at Derriford hospital, University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust - one day course. Course material and directions will be sent out nearer the time.
