DescriptionThis two-day course designed for you to gain knowledge and skills in remote and rural medicine as well as improving confidence and competence in leadership and crew resource management that can be directly related to NHS practice. We will use outdoor working environments and scenarios to explore the human factors that contribute to scenario outcome. Using safe spaces, we will approach mental health and resilience within healthcare, and look at the global health challenges facing our own health care systems and those of low and middle income countries. The course will form a mixture of workshops, open discussion and debate and lecture format. Two thirds of the day will take place outdoors capitalising on an outdoor learning environment. The workshops will be split into groups and rotate during the day. Once you have signed up we will send you on boarding information with all that you you need and a link to sign up to Medall which you HAVE to do for safety reasons.

We are staying at Brimpts Farm, Dartmoor. There is limited parking so please car share where possible.
