Aims

Explain the diagnostic process in the unwell adult, and management of vastly deranged physiology.

Objectives

1. Recognise presentations of critically unwell patients.

2. Understand important of identifying underlying pathophysiological states in critical illness.

3. Appreciate an overview of influencing physiology in the critically unwell patient.
