Description | This is a one day course on teaching and task training of clinical skills such as chest drain insertion, lumbar puncture, suturing, venous access, paracentesis and more! The session will be facilitated by Sarah Rawlinson, Head of Peninsula Foundation School and Consultant Paediatric Anaesthetist at Derriford Hospital, Thomas Graber, Simulation Trust Fellow and Elizabeth Thompson, Anaesthetic ST6 both from the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. |
Additional information | This training session will be a pilot and can only be attended by trainees who are not on a rota to work on this day. We are aware there is not sufficient time to apply for study leave so must only be attended by trainees who do not have to adjust their rota for this date - there are other dates available.
Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day. Trainees must provide their own lunch or purchase from the café available on site. |
