| Lecturer profile | I qualified from Liverpool University BDS in 1991 having previously gained a BSc (Hons) degree in Pharmacology. I was awarded the Diploma in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in December 2008; and an MSc in Restorative Dentistry followed this from the University of Leeds in 2010. I have been awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education from Edge Hill University. I have recently retired from clinical practice, and, amongst other roles, I am the Associate Dental Dean for Conduct & Performance at NHSE NW. I was previously a Specialty Dentist/Hon Teaching Fellow at Manchester University. I was an examiner for the and Course Director of the CGDent/FGDP's Diploma in Restorative Dentistry. I am also Deputy Lead for the ORE. I have worked in general practice for over 20 years both full time and part time.
