To improve the planning and provision of Posterior crowns and onlays in General Dental Practice.

Objectives

To discuss:

  • The indications for posterior crowns and onlays.
  • The current materials available, when to utilize them and how they affect preparation design. 
  • Key factors in improving the fit, appearance and longevity of restorations. 

To allow time on phantom head to practice a variety of preparation designs and temporisation techniques.
