Board room is located in Aintree Lodge which is building 4 on site Map. It is facing the costa coffee at rear of the hospital.


 

Registration will be at 1:30pm.

Aintree Lodge is Building 4 on the hospital site map.

The easiest landmark is the Costa Coffee located on the ground floor at the rear of the hospital.

The entrance to Aintree Lodge is directly opposite Costa.

Aims

To provide an overview of DCT 2/3 training in HEE NW and give an understanding of the requirements of a DCT 2/3 placement.

Objectives
  • To understand scope and purpose of Dental Core Training.
  • Develop knowledge of the DCT curriculum.
  • Develop knowledge of the assessment framework and tools including the Axia eportfolio, through practical sessions with ES input and from TPD presentations.
  • Develop links with the DCT team for HEE NW.
  • To prepare for work in a secondary care environment.
Learning outcomes
  • Course participants will have a better understanding of Dental Core Training and how this is delivered within HEE NW.
  • You will be introduced to the DCT Curriculum and assessment process.
  • Gain access to and explore Axia eportfolio including understanding and use of SLE's.
