To ensure FDs understand the structure and funtioning of DFT at both a HEE NW and local level.

To ensure that FDs understand what is expected of them.

To have generic information presented on DFT relating to HEE NW.

To have information presented on DFT realting to the local scheme including details of the centre, ground rules and an overview of the study days and FD year.

To have information presented on the e portfolio and what is required for satisfactory completion of the year.

The Foundation Dentist will be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the dental foundation programme and be able to meet all requirements to gain a satisfactory completion certification.
