Lecturer profileLarry Browne admits to over 50 years in technical dentistry. Until retirement in 2015 Larry owned L S Browne Technical Services Dental Laboratory, specialising in crown and bridge restorations and technical support of implant constructions on all principle implant systems. Involved with technical planning and occlusal schemes. Believes in working closely with his restoring clinical colleagues in a committed team approach to restorative dentistry. Responsible for education courses for technicians and clinicians and continues to speak at major congresses on all related subjects. He has also lectured on various aspects of technical dentistry through the UK and overseas. Larry is a Fellow of the ITI, a Fellow of the British Institute of Dental Surgical Technologists (FBIDST), a Member of the Dental Technicians Association (MDTA) and was the Technician Committee Representative for the Association of Dental Implantology. He also recently received a lifetime achievement award at the Laboratory Awards 2018.
