| Lecturer profile | Karen Jones currently works for the 3 Boroughs Infection Control Service which is hosted by St Helens CCG. She joined the team in 2009 after spending over 25 years working in the GDP and Community dental sector amassing a wealth of dental experience and acquiring professional qualifications; attaining a National Certificate in Dental Nursing, Certificate in Conscious Sedation and Radiography.
During her time as an Infection Prevention & Control Practitioner she has achieved post graduate qualifications in the principles and management of infections and a teaching qualification in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS).
Her role involves supporting the primary dental care services within the 3 boroughs remit to maintain standards and improve compliance with regards to infection control.
