To develop communication skills and help prepare students for interviews and presentations.

Objectives

Objectives:

  • During the session, students will:
  • Reflect on the purpose and structure of interviews and presentations and the effective use of soft skills to enhance performance in both situations.
  • Consider a framework for preparing for interviews and presentations.
  • Practice presentations and analyse interview performance.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the session, students should be able to:

  • Plan and prepare for interviews and presentations using a preparation framework.
  • Identify skills and techniques that they can use to improve their performance in interviews and presentations.
  • Build rapport with the interviewers and audiences.
  • Identify further sources of skills support and help in preparing for presentations and interviews.
