Aims

To provide evidence based guidance in the management of caries in the primary dentition while avoiding AGPs in line with current national guidance during the Covid recovery phase

Objectives
  • Overview of evidence based prevention
  • Identify effective ways of managing caries in the primary dentition, avoiding AGPs, focusing on SDF and the Hall technique.
  • Discuss evidence for using SDF and the Hall technique and their clinical indications
Learning outcomes

Delegates will be able to transfer their skills into everyday practice to manage decay in the primary dentition and feel more confident and competent in identifying when to use SDF and the Hall Technique in particular.
