Aims
  • To learn and practise lifesaving medical first aid skills and embed all Basic-Life-Saving Skills.
Objectives
  • To be able to conduct a primary survey
  • To be able to employ CPR techniques (including use of a defibrillator)
  • To be able to maintain the airway and apply oxygen sufficiently
  • To be able to ensure the knowledge and stock of essential drugs is secure
  • To be able to conduct a secondary survey and employ the recovery position
  • To be able to manage conditions such as choking, asthma, anaphylaxis, cardiac arrest, seizures, hypoglycaemia
