To cover the following areas:

  • Basic life Support/Recovery Position/Automated external defibrillator
  • Medical Emergencies; syncope, cardiac emergencies, anaphylaxis, asthma, choking, epilepsy, hypoglycaemia
  • Foundation Dentists will receive a certificate to record their competence in these areas.
Objectives

Learning Outcomes:

  • Foundation Dentists will learn the most up to date thinking in basic life support and will be able to describe the management of a range of seious medical emergencies within dental practice.
