  1. Review basics of composite materials and bonding
  2. Explore the use of multi layering composite filling techniques for both anterior and posterior restorations
  3. Revise anterior tooth anatomy
Objectives

To trial multi layering techniques using different cavity preparations and matrix systems for functional and aesthetic restorations

Learning Outcomes

  1. Gain understanding of etching and bonding protocols
  2. To have knowledge of anterior tooth anatomy to aid good aesthetic restorations
  3. To be able to assess the need for different matrix systems
  4. To be able to produce good aesthetic and functional restorations using multi layering technique
