Aims

This induction will provide Foundation Dentist with and understanding of the requirements for the 12 month programme and the opportunity to ask questions on elements of the programme which they may need clarification on.

Objectives

• Understand how to completion of the e-portfolio is and its effective use

• Identify the outline of NHS UDA/Charge Band system and discuss the detail of The Claim Regulations to avoid breaching NHS contract terms

• Have an awareness of their individual personality type and its effect in the workplace using Kiersey   Temperament Sorter and have knowledge of the 4 main types and differences of each

• Have insight into how to produce a good case presentation during your foundation year

• Have insight into how to carry out an audit during your foundation training year using the audit process
