Objectives | · To update participants’ knowledge of important pathogens in dentistry · To allow participants to reflect on how their practice appears from their patients’ perspective · To ensure that participants understand the infection control guidance contained in HTM 01-05 · To detail the evidence items required for practices to comply with the Health and Social Care Act 2008, Code of Practice · Review the regulation of Dental Practise and Ethical Considerations Learning Outcomes · Understanding of the risks from infectious diseases in dental practice · Ability to identify areas that are a concern for patients · A working knowledge of essential quality and best practice requirements contained in HTM 01-05 · Awareness of evidence required for the practice to comply with CQC criteria · Understand the Law and Regulation regarding Dentistry, particularly recent changes. · Understand the underpinning ethical philosophy | ||
