  • Increase predictability of your dentistry diagnosis and management of TMD, which splint to use and for how long
Objectives
  • To understand the basic principles of occlusion and how they relate to general dentistry
  • To understand how to carry out a simple TMJ/Occlusal examination and how to incorporate it into a general examination
  • To understand how to make a complete diagnosis, including TMJ-occlusal diagnosis
  • Be aware of the different splints available and their appropriate usage
  • Understand how to move forward with treatment once splint therapy is complete
