Any bookings made within 24 hours of the course commencement date are considered late bookings. It is crucial for us to maintain the quality of our courses and ensure a seamless experience for all participants. Therefore, late bookings may not receive an automatic link to the course.

Aims

To increase awareness and understanding of mental health, wellbeing, and resilience within NHS dental practice teams, enabling participants to maintain personal wellbeing and contribute to a positive, supportive, and effective working environment.

Objectives
  • Discuss the impact of workplace pressures on mental health and wellbeing in a dental practice setting.
  • Recognise common signs of stress, burnout, and mental health challenges in themselves and colleagues.
  • Identify practical strategies to support personal wellbeing and build resilience.
  • Explain the importance of psychological safety, teamwork, and peer support in maintaining a healthy workplace culture.
  • Apply techniques to manage stress effectively and promote wellbeing within the dental team.
  • Define how positive mental health and resilience contribute to improved patient care, team performance, and professional satisfaction.
