Aims

This program aims to:

  • Explore the theoretical framework for assessing edentulous patients and the various techniques and materials involved in complete denture construction.
  • Offer hands-on experience in both primary and secondary impression procedures as well as jaw registration.
Objectives
  • Identify structured techniques for assessing an edentulous patient.
  • Recognise how to select appropriate techniques and materials
  • Obtain practical, hands-on experience by working with phantom heads to practice and master the application of these techniques and materials
Learning outcomes
  • By the end of the course the delegates will have a better understanding and more confidence in assessing the edentulous patient, along with improved knowledge on selecting and delivering appropriate techniques using a variety of materials.
