Aims

To discuss Quality Assurance in Dental Radiography to ensure compliance with legislative requirements

Objectives
  • Review the key elements of Quality Assurance with due regard to IRR17, IR(ME)R 2017 and IR(ME) Amendment Regulations 2024
  • Discuss the elements of a Quality Assurance Programme in Dental Radiography
  • Draw on the ‘Guidance Notes for Dental Practitioners’ and consider how these aid compliance with legislation
