Aims

To help practitioners improve their skills in diagnosing endodontic disease and devising a treatment plan as well as performing root canal treatment with a contemporary approach.

Objectives
  • Endodontic diagnosis.
  • Understanding the root canal and pulp chamber anatomy.
  • Preparation of conservative access cavity and locating the orifices of the canals.
  • Learning how to locate and negotiate MB2 in upper molars and mid-mesial canals in lower molars.
  • Understanding the principles of isolation and the importance of an aseptic approach in endodontic outcomes.
  • Introduction to magnification and its role in endodontic treatment.
  • Learning about working length determination.
  • Learning how to negotiate difficult anatomies such as curved or calcified canals.
  • Establishing glide path.
  • Introduction to different NiTi instruments. (Rotary and Reciprocation)
  • Learning about the different instrumentation techniques of the canals.
Learning outcomes

Upon completion of this course, participants can expect to achieve the following outcomes:
