Aims

This lecture will present an overview of the current status of dental implantology and the recent technological & clinical advances in this field to enable the dentist to provide appropriate advice to patients requiring implant treatment as well as maintenance of patients with dental implants. The main topic will be “Atraumatic Tooth Removal and socket augmentation”

Objectives

1. Learn treatment options for the patient with tooth loss

2. Learn what implant treatment options might be appropriate for different modalities of tooth loss

3. Develop knowledge of atraumatic tooth extraction technique
