Aims

To look at 20 practical "Tips" to potentially use in your everyday endodontic practice.

Objectives
  • Review specific areas of clinical endodontic practice and to identify possible ways to improve your outcomes in these areas
  • Offer alternative successful options for clinical treatments
  • Challenge some orthodox thinking about endodontic treatments
  • Discuss managing a very inflamed pulp (a hot tooth) to improve the treatment outcome
  • Explore how to give an effective local anaesthetic which is often needed when treating endodontic cases
  • Examine the use of a variety of dental instruments more effectively to improve their endodontic treatments for patients
  • Recognise the need for effective restorations to ensure long-term success of an endodontically treated tooth
Learning outcomes

At the end of this presentation Dentists who attend should be able to identify areas of their clinical practice which can be improved and use the tools provided for a successful outcome in this area.
