Additional information | The presentation will look at the relevant safeguarding adults policies, including The Care Act and The Mental Capacity Act and how these fit into the standards set out by our professional bodies and local safeguarding procedures. The presentation will utilise case studies so that the delegates will improve their own confidence in applying safeguarding practices in their day to day work , know where to go for support and also understand how they fit into the larger multi-agency team within safeguarding adults.
