Keith, a qualified Dentist for 37 years, Keith has owned mixed and private practices and is a Clinical Director (Corporate) and a compliance organization. Keith has assisted CQC in regulatory development, completed CQC inspections and is an active dental bank adviser., Keith is also CO-MODERATOR GDPUK (CQC sub section)

Gary Cousins - Facial Deformity and Infection 11.00-12.15

Gary is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and has strong links with local practitioners. He qualified as a dentist, subsequently as a doctor, His commitment to teaching and training has led to honorary posts in three universities

Raj Rattan MBE - Legal ethical and complaints 1.30 – 4 pm

Raj is a graduate of University College Hospital, London. He is a general dental practitioner and maintains his commitment to clinical dentistry at his practices, combining this with his role of Associate Dean in the London Deanery. Raj has considerable experience of the NHS and the private sector. A member of the original Options for Change task group in 2001, Raj was appointed as a Policy Adviser to the Department of Health where he continues to act as a professional adviser to NHS and private sector organisations on a consultancy basis.

Raj has authored/co-authored several text books, published numerous articles in the dental press, and been involved in new media publishing initiatives involving e-learning and CD-ROM based materials for general dental practice. He is a former examiner for the FGDP and a visiting lecturer/Teaching Fellow to a number of postgraduate teaching programmes, and has lectured widely in the UK and overseas. He first worked as a Dento-Legal Adviser for Dental Protection in 1993 before becoming a Senior Dento-Legal Consultant in 2011. In addition to working with members he is monitoring the introduction of Foundation Training on behalf of DPL and is actively involved in creating educational resources for
