  • To introduce the legislative aspects which relate to infection control procedures in the dental environment
  • To provide a detailed explanation of the practices & procedures for implementing effective infection control
Objectives

It is anticipated that members of the dental team who undertake this training course will have a thorough understanding of the reasons why effective infection control is fundamental to the provision of quality dental treatment. It will also provide a good working knowledge of all the recommended procedures necessary for the implementation of efefctive infection control in a dental context including the recommendations in HTM 01-05.
