Drug Interactions & Adverse Reactions of Relevance to Dentistry (NW151208A)

AvailabilityCourse has taken place
SubjectPharmacology
DescriptionMore of our patients than ever before are taking prescribed drugs.
Additional information

As dentists we need to be aware of the effects these can have on our treatment & also the potential interactions that can occur if we have to prescribe drugs as well. Of course when there is doubt, it is always best to take advice & for guidance on dental pharmacological issues, there is only one logical port of call, namely "The National Dental Medicines Information Service", which is located in Liverpool at the North West Medicines Information Centre.

We are fortunate to have the senior pharmacist from this information service speaking on this course & Christine Randall is extremely knowledgable on the areas of concern in dental pharmacology. She will cover the common problem areas that she is aware of & also any others that become pertinent nearer the time. In addition, she will be more than happy to answer any related questions that delegates may have.

It is an open afternoon & all those with an interest in these issues are most welcome including dentists, therapists & hygienists.
