Aims

To update the infection prevention control aspects of supervised toothbrushing programmes in early years and school settings during the response to COVID-19.

Objectives

Define:

  • models of delivery of tooth brushing programme
  • the infection prevention control related aspects of the supervised toothbrushing programmes including PPE use and cleaning
  • signposting to dental services

Appraise communication with:

  • settings before reestablishment of programme
  • training providers

Discuss complaints handling and how to raise concerns including steps to be taken in event of suspected or confirmed COVID-19 case

Following this webinar, delegates will have an increased understanding of the infection prevention control guidance for supervised toothbrushing programmes in early years and school settings.
