Additional information

The speaker on this course is an experienced oral surgeon but has worked for some years as Clinical Lead for Oral Diagnosis at Liverpool Dental Hospital and so is particularly well suited to lecture on the subject of managing dental patients in pain. In addition, patients with complex medical histories are presenting increasing difficulties - so he is keen to explore a number of these such as anticoagulant therapy & immunosuppression to broaden our knowledge. Finally he is going to give some help & advice on the subject of local anaesthesia difficulties - as treating patients in pain can provide us with even greater challenges than usual.
